RETURN & REFUND POLICY
This policy applies to physical artworks and limited-edition prints purchased through the Julietta Salvatierra website. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal under applicable consumer law, you may request a return of a standard, non-personalized artwork within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, please contact us by email within the applicable period and include your order number.
Custom commissions, personalized artworks and works created specifically to a collector's requirements are not eligible for return due to change of mind, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
CONDITION OF THE ARTWORK
Returned artworks must be unused and in their original condition.
The artwork must be returned with its Certificate of Authenticity, original protective materials and any other items included with the order.
The returned artwork must correspond to the same artwork supplied, including its title, edition number and identifying details.
Where permitted by law, a deduction may apply if the artwork has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect its nature and condition.
RETURN SHIPPING
For a change-of-mind return, the collector is responsible for arranging and paying for secure, trackable return shipping.
Please contact us before sending the artwork so that the correct return instructions can be provided.
We recommend using appropriate protective packaging and retaining proof of shipment until the return has been completed.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable where permitted by applicable law.
DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR DEFECTIVE ARTWORKS
If your artwork arrives damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 48 hours.
Please include photographs of the artwork, packaging and shipping label.
Please retain all original packaging and do not dispose of or alter the artwork unless instructed to do so.
Once the issue has been assessed, an appropriate remedy will be arranged in accordance with applicable consumer law, which may include a replacement, repair or refund.
LIMITED EDITIONS
Each limited-edition print is signed and individually numbered and forms part of a strictly limited edition.
For this reason, if a limited-edition print is damaged during delivery, additional photographs or documentation may be requested to verify the condition of the artwork and protect the integrity of the edition.
Any replacement, where applicable, will correspond to the same edition and artwork.
REFUNDS
Once a return has been approved and the artwork has been received, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Where applicable, we may wait until the artwork has been received or until evidence has been provided that it has been returned before processing the refund.
Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to complete the transaction.
EXCHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to exchange a standard artwork, please contact us before sending anything back.
Where appropriate, the original purchase may be processed as a return and a new order placed separately.
If you need to cancel or modify an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered production or has been dispatched, without affecting any mandatory statutory rights.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following are generally not eligible for return due to change of mind, except where mandatory law provides otherwise:
Commissioned artworks
Personalized artworks
Bespoke works created to the collector's specifications
Items returned outside the applicable statutory return period
Artwork that has been materially altered or damaged after delivery
