ARTWORK CARE & HANDLING
Your artwork has been produced using carefully selected materials and should be handled and stored with care to preserve its condition over time.
-LIGHT & DISPLAY
Avoid prolonged or direct exposure to sunlight.
When displaying the artwork, we recommend using UV-protective glass or museum-grade acrylic to help protect the work from light exposure.
-FRAMING
Use acid-free materials for framing and mounting, including the mat or passe-partout.
Any adhesives used should be acid-free and suitable for archival artwork.
Where a wooden frame comes into direct contact with the artwork, natural, untreated wood is recommended.
-HANDLING
Avoid touching the artwork directly with your hands, as oils and moisture can affect its surface.
Always handle the print with clean cotton gloves.
When removing the artwork from its packaging, handle it carefully by the edges and avoid placing the printed surface against another surface.
-STORAGE
Store the artwork flat in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and humidity.
A stable room temperature of approximately 10–30°C and relative humidity of 49–60% is recommended.
-MULTIPLE PRINTS
If storing more than one print together, place acid-free tissue or another soft archival paper between each artwork.
The printed surfaces should never come into direct contact with one another.
-PACKAGING
Please retain the original packaging and protective materials whenever possible. They may be useful for future storage or transportation of the artwork.
